Baha'i Audio

Tom Price at the podium Baha’i music composer Tom Price delivered six great new talks at the 2012 Tennessee Baha’i School, called “Recreating Ourselves in the Image of the Master”. In these wonderful talks Tom Price shares six of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá’s attributes and looks at how we can learn from them and adopt them into our own lives. You can listen to these talks by either streaming them or by downloading them – and best of all, it’s completely free!

Baha'i Library Online Audio Readings from the Baha'i Writings -- Dean Martineau

There is very little available for the person who wants to take in knowledge or inspiration from the Revelation of Bahau'llah by ear. Here you will find several hours of readings from the Baha'i Writings and of texts concerning different aspects of the Faith. those that I have recorded are far from perfect, but an attempt has been made to convey the spirit and letter of the texts as best I can. My readings carry a definite American accent. The recording of the Kitab-i-Aqdas sounds Australian to me, and perhaps we will be able to add other dialects of English and other languages if people contribute recordings. You will find recordings of Sacred Texts from the Baha'i Faith first, followed by recordings of a more explanatory nature.

Month of Kalimát / Words

No man of wisdom can demonstrate his knowledge save by means of words. This showeth the significance of the Word as is affirmed in all the Scriptures, whether of former times or more recently. For it is through its potency and animating spirit that the people of the world have attained so eminent a position. Moreover words and utterances should be both impressive and penetrating. However, no word will be infused with these two qualities unless it be uttered wholly for the sake of God and with due regard unto the exigencies of the occasion and the people.
